Love and lifelong commitment filled the air as 21 couples officially tied the knot during a mass wedding ceremony hosted by the Municipal Government of Hermosa led by Mayor Anne Inton at the elegant Tres Marias Events Place and Resort.
The romantic gathering brought together families, friends, and local officials who witnessed the couples exchange vows and promises of forever. Serving as principal sponsors were Bataan First District Representative Tony Roman III as ninong, while Board Member Mylene Serrano, and Michelle Caraig, representing Gov. Joet Garcia, stood as ninangs for the newlyweds.
During the ceremony, the sponsors shared heartfelt advice with the couples on how to keep their marriages strong and lasting. Rep. Roman reminded the newlyweds that marriage is not only built on love but also on understanding, respect, and responsibility. He also offered legal guidance about the rights and duties of married couples under the law.
Adding depth to the occasion, an official from the Philippine Statistics Authority explained important matters related to marriage registration and legal documentation, helping the couples understand the responsibilities and benefits tied to their union.
Mayor Inton expressed joy over witnessing the beginning of new families in Hermosa, saying the mass wedding symbolizes hope, commitment, and unity in the community. The ceremony also highlighted the local government’s continued support for programs that strengthen Filipino families.
As music played and smiles filled the venue, the 21 couples sealed their vows with kisses and warm embraces, marking the start of a new chapter together — one founded on love, faith, and the promise of forever.
