Bataan records 15% increase in number of registered vehicles

PILAR, Bataan- A top official of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) here revealed yesterday that Bataan has an annual increase in the number of motor vehicles being registered, an indicator that the province enjoys a continuous economic development.

Ronald Dabu, LTO Chief for Registration, said their office has recorded at least 15 percent increase in the number of vehicles being registered annually. He said that a total of 300 vehicles (4-wheel and more) are being registered daily in the Bataan LTO  aside from the newly-registered motor vehicles (MVs) or newly-acquired MVs.

Dabu cited other big provinces such as Pampanga, seat of regional center in Central Luzon, which has not recorded such increase in the number of vehicles being registered.

“Halos pareho yung nairerehistro na bilang ng sasakyan sa LTO Pampanga taun-taon, samantalang ang laki ng Pampanga compared sa Bataan, tayo ay tumataas ng 15 percent,” Dabu added.
