MARIVELES, Bataan – Jetti Petroleum Inc., a newly-constructed bulk terminal based in Barangay Lucanin, this town, generates big volume of employment, mostly recruited from this province.
This was learned from Jesselyn Empeno, barangay captain, who said that the setting up of the Jetti here will also provide additional income to her barangay, aside from employment.
“We are very thankful to Jetti company since they hired most of its workers from my barangay and in the province,” pointed out Empeno.
Jetti Petroleum has been rapidly expanding its horizons since its inception in 1998. With over 100 stations and 4 terminals to its name, Jetti is set to embark on another leg of its journey with the inauguration of its newest and biggest fuel import terminal yet, the Jetti Bataan BulkTerminal come July 10, said Daisy Sabangan, Media Affairs director of Jetti.
Aside from Jetti, Empeno said that Seafront Shipyard, a private company, is providing big volume of employment and income to the barangay coffers and its owners are very supportive to the welfare of her barangay since its existence
