A glimpse of Balanga City public market

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Balanga City public market has built its reputation as one of the cleanest in Central Luzon. Renovated during the time of City Mayor Abet Garcia, more improvements and innovations were introduced during the term of Mayor now Congressman Joet Garcia.
It was then when the façade was reconstructed to give it a new look of a commercial complex, glazed tiles were used in the main corridor of the market place, running water faucets were installed at the fish section and a food court was put up within the area.
More organized stalls, dry goods and wet market sections made the city public market attractive to market-goers not only from the city but to travelers as well, since the market site is strategically accessible from the Roman Highway. Parking and loading zones for tricycles and single motorcycles were properly arranged for easier flow of traffic.
