CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Twelve junior Hotel and Restaurant Management students who call themselves Culinary Warriors brought the Eiffel Tower of Paris to Balanga through their dessert buffet, dubbed Le Tour Eiffel, this morning at the PWU campus, this City.
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower more than 126 years ago.
According to Ms. Liz Robles, their Instructor, the activity is part of their course requirement in Banquet. The entire PWU Bataan family led by Mr. Val Toral, Ms. Ana Danan, Ms. Yolly Gonzales, Mr. Jayson Cayanan, Ms. Myra Somo, Ms. Thez Pacquing to name a few were all in full support of the activity.
Guests, mostly friends, family members and schoolmates of the Culinary Warriors namely: Maruja Garcia, Catherine Oliveria, Anjanette de Leon, Michelle de Leon, Kate Marie Galanida, Alyssa Timbang, Melody Garcia, Joshua Laurio, Mark Reyes, Bret Mejia, Benzer Ordonio, Russel Silva, were treated inside a Paris inspired room filled with a variety of delightful desserts, all prepared by the students.
