AFAB conducts workshop on filmmaking

The Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) Film Festival marks the first-ever Film Festival in Bataan offering local filmmakers a platform to showcase their talent.

The Festival, according to Ms. Hazel Keith Elloren of AFAB, has an open theme giving the directors the creative freedom to explore any story or genre without restrictions.

At the workshop, the directors presented their story concepts and received feedback to fine tune their ideas before proceeding with screenplay writing, while organizers gave the teams a tour of the freeport area, highlighting potential shooting locations that will add a unique touch for their films.

While FAB Film Festival seeks to become a platform for Bataan Filmmakers to showcase original stories that can reflect local creativity, identity and culture, the Festival itself, aims to promote local filmmaking and nurture homegrown Bataan talents.

Although the TOP 10 Finalists have already been announced, details and the festival schedule are yet to be revealed.
