The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) under the leadership of Administrator and CEO Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman will develop a Central Business District (CBD) that will serve as the Freeport’s hub for commerce, services, and community activity.
AFAB Senior Information Officer Hazel Elloren said the CBD project will feature a mix of modern facilities, including a shopping mall and hotel, office buildings, multi-storey parking, commercial complexes, and a commercial condominium. She added it will occupy 23,000 square meters of land.
Other planned developments at the Freeport include the 16-hectare FAB Golf Course and the FAB Boardwalk, a 12,000-square-meter commercial and recreational strip along the Freeport’s waterfront.
