MARIVELES, Bataan – The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is all set to hold a press conference with AFAB Chairman Deogracias Custodio and the management of GN Power Mariveles Coal Plant, Ltd., along with some officials of our top locators, on December 11 and 12, 2014.
The Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) is recognized as the fastest growing free port area in the country for the past three years. As such, the conference was organized to give updates about the operations of the AFAB.
In partnership with the Tourism Department in Bataan, the reporters who will join the business conference will also be toured to various tourist sites in the province, including some famous restaurants and hotels. Custodio has invited business, lifestyle and energy reporters to join the conference and tour.
Among the places to be visited are The Mt. Samat Shrine in Pilar, Bataan Tourism Center in Balanga City, Amanda’s Marine Products Factory, Bataan World War 2 Museum and the Surrender Site Monument, Geno’s Ice Cream Factory, Balanga City Public Market, and the GN Power Coal Plant in Mariveles.
The journalists will also experience bird watching at the 5th Ibong Dayo Festival at the Balanga City Wetland and Nature Park.
