PILAR, Bataan – All employees of the 2 Community Environment Natural Resources Offices (CENROs) under THE Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) in Bataan yielded negative in a surprise drug test ordered by Penro Raul Mamac.

Based on separate certifications issued by the Bataan PNP Crime Laboratory signed by its head Police Major Aylin Perez, all the 50 employees of CENRO Dinalupihan and 43 employees of CENRO Bagac exhibited negative in the drug test.

Earlier, all 47 employees of PENRO Bataan also yielded negative in a surprise drug test. The drug tests were conducted unannounced to catch possible drug users.

Mamac said his order of a surprise drug test among all employees under him is a response to a call for a drug-free Philippines by President Duterte.

PENRO Bataan is the first environment office in Central Luzon to facilitate office-wide drug test. DENR 3 Regional Director Francisco Milla Jr. had issued a memorandum commending the effort of the DENR here.
