Baguio City Assessor’s Office employees visit Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Twenty employees of Baguio City Assessor’s Office have undergone a two-day benchmarking session with their local counterparts in Bagac, Dinalupihan, Balanga City and Bataan provincial government

Ms. Maria Almaya Addawe, Baguio City assessor, said the Pine City Assessor staff have attended the comprehensive and systematic land and property assessment, analyze efficient procedure how other organizations achieve their high performance levels particularly in Bataan.

Ms. Addawe explained the benchmarking is a significant aspect of good practices in real estate and property assessment and effective methods of applying the overdue upgrading or revision as prescribed by City Ordinances or legal processes.

She enumerated the importance of benchmarking in the revision system of the outdated property assessment and market worth in the City of Pines which is considered as a premier vacation and leisure destination in the country.

Ms. Addawe added that the group has visited historical landmarks, heritage resorts and other equally important commercial, industrial and tourism sites.
