BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Balanga City Treasurer Joselito Evangelista is quite optimistic the Bataan province’s component city of Balanga will collect close to P1 billion income by the end of this year.
Earlier in his state of the city address (SOCA), Balanga City Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia expressed optimism the city government will collect P1 billion in taxes due to the various multi-million business ventures in Balanga.
Treasurer Evangelista, in echoing the mayor’s expectation, said the “dream” can be realized soon given the scenario that investments keep coming to Balanga because of good business climate, pleasant environment and good peace and order situation.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Bataan) recently disclosed that investment from newly-established business ventures may reach more than P600 million.
