Balanga disinfects hospitals as Bataan records 2nd case of COVID-19

Balanga disinfection teams sanitized on Saturday all major hospitals in the city as DOH confirmed the second COVID 19 case in the province identified as PH303 M24. The patient is confined at Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center, one of the hospitals disinfected. Other hospitals disinfected were Bataan St. Joseph Hospital, Bataan Doctors Hospital, Isaac and Catalina Medical Center, and Centro Medico De Santisimo Rosario.

The tandem of Mayor Francis Garcia and Vice Mayor Vianca Venzon-Gozon has stepped up measures against the disease in the city following the first case in the province more than a week ago. The two top city officials immediately implemented the two executive orders issued by Gov. Abet Garcia containing guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus in the province. The governor reiterated his appeal to the people of Bataan to strictly follow the rules and guidelines of the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
