Balanga has new COP

   BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Supt. Frederick E. Obar, took over the helm this morning as the new chief of police (COP) of Balanga City, replacing Supt. Melecio “Bong” Buslig, Jr. in a simple ceremony at the Balanga PNP station. Supt. Obar was formerly detailed at the Camp Olivas, Regional Headquarters of the PNP in Central Luzon.            

   The relief of Col. Buslig, was expected since he is also the incumbent chief of PNP provincial Intelligence based in Camp Tolentino.               

   Supt. Obar, who is set to pay a courtesy call on Mayor Joet Garcia, vows to maintain the peaceful environment of the City, now one of the most progressive component cities in the country.
