Balanga holds Farm Family Day

To recognize the role of ordinary people in boosting agriculture, the City Government of Balanga recently held the annual Farm Family Day Celebration.

“Binibigyan ng parangal ang Best Farmer, Best Fisherman, Best Association at Best Kagawad na may hawak ng Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries sa bawat barangay”, Councilor Benjie Merino said.

Merino is the chairman of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries. He is also the chairman of the Committee on Good Government and Ethics. Mayor Francis Garcia attended the event held at the Plaza Mayor Balanga City, organized by the City Agriculture Office.
