Balanga initiates Yoko sa Yosi Challenge

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – By way of a video on social media, Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia has initiated Yoko sa Yosi Challenge  urging all Balanga residents to quit smoking.

Responding to the challenge of the mayor, Gov. Albert Garcia in return challenged all municipal mayors, elected officials in the province,  and all Bataan residents in general to follow. The governor particularly called out a couple of local executives in his call.

In joining a campaign, one must upload a video to challenge friends and relatives and tag them in the social media.

Balanga City Vice-Mayor Vianca Venzon-Gozon after accepting the challenge of Mayor Garcia, called on a number of fellow Vice Mayors to quit smoking.

In spite of the immense success of the city in the tobacco-free campaign, which started during the term of then mayor now Congressman Joet Garcia, the tandem of Mayor Garcia and Gozon is aiming to achieve more in the campaign.
