Balanga launches Pinaka-Malinis at Luntiang Tahanan award

To promote proper waste management and greening of the environment, the Balanga City leadership tandem of Mayor Francis Garcia and Vice Mayor Vianca Venzon-Gozon has launched Pinaka-Malinis at Luntiang Tahanan award.

The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (Cenro) stated the award aims to recognize the contributions of Balanga residents in making the environment clean and green.

Proper waste disposal among residential houses and planting of vegetables and ornamental plants are promoted.

Cenro stated that the initiative of Garcia and Venzon-Gozon provides inspiration to Balanga folks to take good care the environment. Cenro announced that Pinaka-Malinis at Luntiang Tahanan award for the month of July were individually given to Corazon Garcia of Barangay Pto. Rivas Lote, Julita Robles of Barangay San Jose, and Madonna Suarez from Barangay Central.

Members of Sangguniang Panlungsod support the program, which promotes environmental conservation.
