Balanga opens barangay temporary sanitation facility

The Balanga city government has recently turned over three units of temporary sanitation facility to Barangay Talisay.
City Administrator Rudy De Mesa said during the turn-over ceremony that the installation of three barangay bathrooms is in line with the health initiative of the leadership tandem of Mayor Francis Garcia and Vice Mayor Vianca Venzon-Gozon. The top two city officials wanted the project to be replicated in other barangays.

The tandem of Garcia and Venzon-Gozon is responsible for many laudable programs of the city in the aspects of, aside from health, education, barangay empowerment, child protection, and solid waste management among others.
Cenro Nerissa Mateo joined in the turnover ceremony. The project was received by Capt. Remo Camacho and other members of barangay councils, and witnessed by some barangay residents.
De Mesa also asked barangay folks to keep the community clean.
The administrator also urged barangay folks to support the relocation program of the city. Many houses are precariously situated along Talisay River.
