Bataan allots P1 billion for infrastructure program for next year

BALANGA CITY, Balaan – The provincial government has allocated P 1 billion for the implementation of infrastructure programs for the year 2019 to hasten the expected coming of local and foreign investments in diversified and operative economic zones and recognized industrial growth centers in the province.
Board Member Rolando Z. Tigas, Bataan Sangguniang Panlalawigan chair of Committees on Infrastructure, Housing and Land Utilization, revealed the budgetary allocations for the coming year are intended to highlights on the improvement of flood control, provincial roads, drainage system , clearing of silted waterways and other major tributaries which would induce growth in rural communities.
He described the completion of infrastructure facilities of the province is an important segment in the process of selecting a viable industrial or manufacturing site of Bataan topographic landscape.
Likewise the province is experiencing a major structural improvements in anticipation of a growing industrial and commercial markets, world-class recreational conveniences in the coastal towns of Bagac and Morong which are now underway for travel and tourism industry, Board Member Tigas said.
He added the competitive market value of the historic peninsula which is strategically located to Metro Manila , abundance of skilled manpower , reliable and dependable power and water supply, availability of vast lands for commercial and industrial entrepreneurs and port terminals and depots make Bataan an attractive and healthy business locations.
As a former municipal executive, Board Member Tigas has cited the presence of thriving ecozones ensures that the province lives up to the expectations of its locators as a primary investment capital of Central Luzon.
He predicted the high financial rating of Bataan as the choice of the local and foreign investors as the historic peninsula opens its doors to economic prosperity and investment opportunities .
