BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The 1 Million Trees for 1 Bataan (1M41B) challenge was officially launched this morning by the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Sangguniang Kabataan at the Bataan People’s Center, September 10
“The reason why Bataan is gradually increasing its population is because of the welcoming people and eco-friendly environment.” Said Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Representative Mila Ramirez in presenting the accomplishment report of DENR. The project involves two category that is individual and group category. There is no limit in planting a seedling.
1 Million Trees for 1 Bataan Challenge is subject to be the major project of Sangguniang Kabataan and the Provincial Government of Bataan is looking forward to have more participants for this project through crowd sourcing. Governor Abet Garcia also mentioned that 1M41B will be successful if everyone will cooperate and make our province a more eco-friendly environment.
