CAPITOL COMPOUND – Despite feeling overwhelmed by plenty of paper works, the different departments under the Provincial Government of Bataan made it through the first and second stages of the ISO 9001:2015 audit, finally making Bataan ISO 9001:2015 certified. The final stage of audit was held yesterday, December 18 at the Provincial Governor’s Office conference room.

The stage 2 audit evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the organization’s management system(s). It was led by Ms. Aurora Tabuton, Ms. Loralie Ann Beltran, and Ms. Khen David from NQA Philippines Inc. which is the certifying body, together with Gov. Abet Garcia and representatives of the participating departments/units namely: PGO, Iskolar ng Bataan, BAC, Accounting Office, Treasurer’s Office, Budget Office, PGSO, PEO, PHRMO, PDRRMO, MBDA, and PSWDO.

With all these front liner departments now certified, the services offered will be more efficient, rapid, inclusive, and sustainable for Bataeños. This is a big milestone for the province, but it doesn’t stop there. Monthly monitoring and yearly surveillance will still be implemented for the continuity and sustainability of the ISO certified services.

This just proves that the PGB actually offers quality service and by that, the PGB also aims to enroll all other departments under it to the ISO 9001:2015 certification by next year.

This is such a wonderful gift for the departments that made it and for the province as a whole. Indeed, Christmas is here. Congratulations!
