Bataan press forms new group

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) provincial director, Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo, Jr. recently led the oath taking of the officers and members of the Bataan PNP Tri-Media Association at the Camp Cirilo Tolentino here.


Zenaida M. Soriano, publisher of the Bataan Primestar and writer for was chosen by her colleagues as president of this first Bataan police media group. Roel Tarayao stringer of TV5, Radyo 5 and correspondent of DZME radio will serve as the vice president; Mhike Cigaral (CLTV 36, DZXL radio,, iOrbit News) was chosen as treasurer and Jun Bringula (DWIZ radio) will serve as Auditor.


Other media personalities joined the group as members and associate members namely: Ernie Esconde (GMA News, Manila Times, Punto CL, BPC Vision), Raffy Viray (Philippine Star,, Greg Refraccion (Philippine Daily Inquirer, Newshawk), Atoy Galicia (Bataan Defenders News), Lulu Levera (Bataan Chronicle), Jonie Capalaran (Pilipino Star Ngayon,, Roger Macalinao (Bataan Reporter) and DJ Jimmy Z (Poweradio 104.5FM). 


Bataan police chief and Atty. Benjie Silo Jr. will serve as the adviser and legal counsel of the group.
