The Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB), led by Governor Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia III, continues to drive economic growth as it formalizes a sisterhood agreement with the City Government of San Juan, under the leadership of Mayor Francis Zamora.
This partnership underscores the commitment of both local government units (LGUs) to fostering mutual growth, business opportunities, and tourism expansion, strengthening economic ties for sustainable and long-term development.
For his part, Mayor Zamora expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, announcing plans to establish a center in San Juan City dedicated to promoting Bataan’s local products and tourism. This initiative aims to invite residents and tourists to learn more about Bataan’s rich culture and economic potential as their city is known for its robust commerce industry, particularly the Greenhills Shopping Center.
The City Government of San Juan also entered into similar sisterhood agreements with the City Government of Balanga, led by Mayor Francis Garcia, and the Municipal Government of Limay, under Mayor Nelson David. The ceremony was witnessed by several distinguished guests, including Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Congresswoman Bel Zamora, San Juan City Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili, Balanga City Vice Mayor Vianca Gozon, Limay Vice Mayor Sarah David, provincial board members, and councilors from the four local government units.
