Bataan Trade Fair kicks off to welcome RSPC influx

CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan – Expecting a large number of participants to the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) tomorrow, the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO), together with the Balanga City Employees and Entrepreneurs Multi-Purpose Cooperative opened a Bataan Trade Fair at the Capitol Grounds today, showcasing the products, souvenir items and delicacies of the province.

Particularly, elementary and high school students together with their mentors/coaches from all over the region have started arriving in this City, Bataan being the host province to this year’s RSPC.

 

Fifteen booths were set up for the products of the different cooperatives and nongovernment offices of Bataan such as Mariveles Bag Makers, Abucay Multi-Purpose Cooperative, SOS Children Village Bataan, Tanato Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Sidhay Bataan National High School Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Kabalikat and the Kagitingan Project.

 

Some of the products showcased in the trade fair are Bataan t-shirts, special buko-pie, fruit juices, recycled bags from tetra packs and tarpaulin, Jansport Bags from Mariveles, cashew products from Bagac and different kinds of local delicacies or kakanin.

 

Simultaneously, a trade fair was also opened at the Plaza Mayor de Balanga selling different organic products of the City.
