BALANGA CITY, Bataan – A total of 178 Child Development Workers/Teachers from the different Child Development Centers all over the province are currently attending a seminar on Accreditation Assessment at the Lou-Is Resort and Restaurant, this City.
Facilitated by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) under Mrs. Marilyn C. Tigas, the activity aims to capacitate and provide the workers/teachers appropriate information, processes, and trends in the provision of early childhood care and development as well as advocate the importance of standards and accreditation of both workers and centers in the well-being of children.
Through the years, with the full support and cooperation of the provincial government as well as that of the local chief executives of the 11 municipalities, Bataan has consistently ranked first in the accreditation of workers and centers in Region 3.
Licensed accreditors from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Office 3 under the leadership of Director Gemma Gabuya took a break from their busy schedules to impart the much needed current information with regards to this noble undertaking.
