BM Del Rosario cites tourism as employment provider

Board Member Popoy Del Rosario has cited tourism as employment provider during the last part of the 3-day activities in celebration of the tourism month held at the Peoples’ Center on Thursday.

“We have here in the province tourism establishments that provide jobs”, said the board member in his message as guest speaker of the event.
“Our province is endowed with natural wonders plus being historical that attract tourists and visitors”, BM del Rosario added.
“We have beaches, mountains, old churches, Mt. Samat Shrine, and adventure parks, among other attractions”, he added.
“These tourist destinations spur businesses that create jobs for local folks”, he pointed out.

Del Rosario also took the opportunity to laud the stellar leadership of Gov. Abet Garcia in the province to improve the quality of living.
A job fair was also held, participated by mostly local tourism businesses.

The Provincial Tourism Office headed by Provincial Tourism Officer Alice Pizarro led the tourism month celebration focused on job creation, in partnership with PESO.
Board Member Bong Galicia also graced the activity.
