Susan Madayag, Bataan National High School (BNHS) math department head, said the activity is part of the monthly presentation of each department in preparation for the school’s centennial celebration come March 3 and 4, 2016.
This month (January) is the turn of the BNHS English department, headed by Virginia Enriquez, to present the festival of talents.
Students wore colorful costumes, representing gods and goddesses of the underworld, witchcraft, fire and thunder, rainbow, sun, flowers, sea and the earth, war and life, among others.
Aside from prominent figures from the Greek mythology, some students from Grades 7 – 12 dressed like Spaniards and Chinese during the olden times.
The BNHS was for years known as the Arellano Memorial High School, named in honor of Cayetano Arellano, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who is a native of Bataan.
