BALANGA CITY, Bataan – A simple thanksgiving tribute was given by the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) to the Grade 8 teachers of the Bataan National High School in appreciation of their hard work and sacrifice in their chosen field.
Forty five teachers were treated to a fun filled program, with dancing and singing, raffle of prizes, games and a sumptuous lunch to refresh them from their usual routine work.
Messages of appreciation from parents headed by Mr. Ed Timbol, vice pres of grade 8 PTA, Mrs. Fe Timbang, Zeny Sison and other parents, who
expressed their admiration, commitment and full understanding on the different circumstances and challenges that each teacher faces in their everyday activities, being the second parents of the students in school.
Mr.Timbol said that the simple tribute is the parents’ way of saying thank you, cherishing, and treasuring their situation and reassuring them of the full support of parents on the different school projects and activities which they believe
will be for the best interest of the students.
Mrs. Gisella Escudero, adviser of the grade 8 teachers on the other hand, said that they’re very thankful with the gesture of the parents, and they really enjoyed every minute of the bonding and added that in their long years of teaching, it was only now that the parents have acknowledged their situation.
