BPSU officials, agri staff attend PAA forum

BALANGA CITY, BataanBataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) officials and agri faculty and staff attended the Philippine Association of Agriculturists (PAA) Central Luzon Chapter-sponsored agri-forum with the theme “Smart Agriculture: Weathering the Effects of Climate Change and Inclusive Growth”.

BPSU President Dr. Greg Rodis led other university officials; Vice President for Research, Extension and Auxiliary Services Prof. Rudy Flores, Abucay Campus Director Dr. Arturo Alegado; and 15 agri faculty and staff of Abucay Campus in participating in the forum held at the Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU), Magalang, Pampanga last week.

Four agri-technologists from the Office of Provincial Agriculturalist – Bataan also attended the event. Agriculturists from Region 3 were the participants of the forum.

PAA Central Luzon was organized last year with Dr. Honorio M. Soriano Jr., University President of PSAU as its President. Flores is the Vice President and Alegado, PRO. Dr. Hermogenes Paguia, Director of Extension Services of BPSU is the Business Manager.

The new officers took their oath before Department of Agriculture Secretary Prospero Alcala during the PAA National Congress at PSAU in November last year.
