BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Officials and personnel of Cavite State University (CVSU) Rosario Campus were impressed with the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) research program and existing income-generating projects during a visit here.
More than a hundred CVSU officials and members of academe recently visited BPSU Orani and Main Campuses to examine the latter’s good practices. They were led by CVSU Rosario Administrator Dr. Jose Lisama.
Dr. Hermogenes Paguia, BPSU Director of Research Development Office, discussed the university research program highlighting year-end accomplishments.
“You see what we are doing here in our research program with good result, of course in sync with the university vision through the leadership of president, Dr. Greg Rodis”, he told visitors.
“We are glad that you chose to visit our university for your benchmarking activity”, he also said.
Lisama and other officials of the Cavite university said they will closely coordinate with the BPSU to be able to adopt effective school practices.
BPSU Director for Production and Enterprises Jose Paulo Tuazon discussed the income-generating projects of the university campuses in particular the fishpond and garment projects in Orani Campus.
Innovation Technology and Support Office Manager Arlyn Ibanez discussed the functional International Patenting Office and university partnership to protect university inventions and innovations. The office is under the Research Development Office.
Dr. Flora Canare, BPSU Main Campus Director, joined in welcoming the visitors from CVSU.
