BPSU’s NCFEET in line with ‘innovation hub’ thrust of the province


The 2nd National Conference on Food, Environment, Engineering, and Technology (NCFEET) organized by the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) is in sync with the innovation hub thrust of the provincial government.
“This is great conference for it brings research scientists, engineers, and other experts in our province which is in line with our thrust to make Bataan an innovation hub”, the visibly happy guest speaker Gov. Abet Garcia told participants in the opening program of the conference recently.

“Let us make this conference yearly”, the governor said who donated certain amount for the governor’s night, a socialization activity for participants who came from as far as Mindanao.
BPSU Pres. Dr. Greg Rodis in his mesage said there is urgent need for experts’ innovation to improve the quality of living of the people.
“We are facing many challenges, experts in various fields can surely contribute through research works to hurdle them”, he said.

For his part, BPSU Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training Services Dr. Hermogenes Paguia said the conference serves as venue for researchers to exchange ideas and even practices.
“The university aims to be in the forefront of promoting science and technology innovation”, the vice president said.
DOST Usec. Dr. Renato Solidum led a pool of resource persons with solid track record who spoke and shared expertise in the event.
The conference was in partnership with the Philippine Association of Agriculturists Central Luzon Tamarind Chapter.
