Business climate in Bataan robust

BUSINESS activity in Bataan province continues to show a steadily strong performance with the input of fresh investments in various business ventures, according to local Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Bataan).

Nelin Ocson Cabahug, provincial director of DTI, said on Friday’s press briefing that her office had a total of 3,113 business registration in the first semester of 2019.
Of the total number of business name registration, 1,489 are engaged in trading; 1,454, service; 114 manufacturing; and 56 agri-based.Those new business ventures had employed 6,250 workers, DTI report said.

The DTI had already put up “Serbisyo Negosyo” centers in Barangays (villages) Gugo, Palili, and Imelda in Samal.
