City government rewards loyal employees

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – One hundred thirty-six permanent employees of the City Government of Balanga received cash incentives of P5,000.00 and P10,000 last Monday September 1 as the city government handed out loyalty awards to thirty-three employees who have been with the city government for five years and 103 employees who have stayed on for ten years.

Mayor Jose Enrique S. Garcia, III together with Vice-Mayor Noel Joseph Valdecanas and members of the City Council led the distribution rites after the flag ceremonies.

Garcia said that this is their way of recognizing the services provided by the employee awardees that have contributed to the realization of the city government’s goals.

During the same occasion, Balanga offficials also gave recognition to 4-year-old Jhunianne Sofia D. Cruz of Nagkamayan Day Care Center, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jose Cruz of Sta. Monica, Upper Tuyo, who topped the poem category in the City Social Welfare & Development Office’s celebration of Nutrition Month.

The City Health Office also launched Tigdas, German measles, and Oral Polio Vaccine Mass Immunization for children five years old and below.
