COB deploys disinfection teams vs COVID threat

As part of the measures to fight the COVID-19 threat, three (3) out of the five (5) Disinfection Teams formed by the City Government of Balanga were dispatched on March 14 to sanitize and disinfect certain areas in the City that will continue as necessary.

The areas that the disinfecting teams have been to are St. Joseph Cathedral, Plaza Mayor and Barangay Doña Francisca PlayGround, City Public Market, City Hall Main Building and City Hall Annex.

To further ensure public health and welfare in the city, all five (5) teams will continue to conduct disinfection and will be placed in public and private educational institutions, barangay halls, daycare centers and rural health units (RHUs).

Every team is composed of personnel from the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), General Services Office (GSO), Provincial Information Office (PIO), Bike Patroller, PSO, and some media personnel.
