DAR Bataan supports ‘Science and Technology Week’

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Bataan supported the recently conducted 3-day 2019 National Science and Technology Week in Central Luzon held in Balanga City.
PARO Engr. Eric San Luis headed the DAR Bataan contingent in attending the the opening of the science and technology week held at Vista Mall.

The event was led by DOST Sec. Fortunato Dela Pena. Vice Gov. Cris Garcia representing Gov. Abet Garcia, who provided message during the opening ceremony.
In the latter part of the program, San Luis joined science and provincial officials in touring the Techno Bazaar at the 2nd floor of the mall were local products were exhibited. He inspected the 3 kiosks of SMEs and cooperatives being assisted by DAR Bataan.

“These SMEs and cooperatives are supported by DOST, DTI, and our agency”, San Luis said.
Among the SMEs and cooperatives are Balanga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multi-Purpose Cooperative that produces Veggie Sarap Pancit Cantoon and other products; Alion Sea-K Enterprise which manufactures Gracielo’s Cashew Products; and Terio’s Food Products.
