DILG Bataan leads on-site validation on road-clearing compliance

In compliance to President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive to all local government units to clear all public roads of obstructions, a provincial validation team led by DILG Bataan conducted on-site validations last September 20 in the municipalities of Samal and Pilar.

Headed by DILG Bataan Provincial Director Myra Moral-Soriano, the team composed of representatives from the PNP, BFP, BJMP, Bataan Lions Club, Provincial Information Office, and other local government officials headed to the municipalities of Samal and Pilar where an interface discussion was held with the local chief executives, Mayor Aida Macalinao of Samal and Mayor Charlie Pizarro of Pilar prior to on-site inspections.
The discussion focused on the five indicators: Ordinance, Inventory, Road Clearing, Displacement Strategies, and Rehabilitation to be implemented in compliance to the DILG MC 2019-121.
