Dinalupihan celebrates its 155th year of festivity

DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – Municipality of Dinalupihan recently concluded its 155th year of Tubig Festival with a Civic Military Parade participated by the 14 barangays, public and private elementary and secondary schools, government agencies, as well as partner private sectors held at Dinalupihan Plaza, last Saturday, June 22.
Mayor Gila Garcia, together with Vice Governor Cris Garcia, and former Congresswoman Herminia Roman welcomed the participants during the Civic Military Parade.
Along with the parade is the search for ‘Best in Kalikasan Float 2019’ with a total of 23 entries joined by the schools, business establishments, national government agencies, government-owned and controlled corporations, accredited civil society organizations, and farmers’ organizations. St. John Academy bagged the Best in Kalikasan Float 2019 for their concept is not only in line with the environment but also reflects the school itself.

The objective of the Civic Military parade is to recognize the partner agencies and establishments of Municipality of Dinalupihan over the past years. As part of the advocacy of Mayor Gila Garcia in taking care of the environment, they came up with this year’s Best in Kalikasan Float in pursuing an eco-friendly Municipality of Dinalupihan.
Performances by GMA guest artists namely Jeric Gonzales and Sanya Lopez left the crowd in awe. Bataan’s pride in Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), Bataan Risers were also present which made the crowd even more hyped.
