BATAAN Second District Rep. Jose Enrique Garcia III is quite optimistic about the approval by the Department of Health of the proposed establishment of Limay District Hospital in Limay, Bataan. Garcia said during the re-opening ceremony of the newly-renovated Limay Sports Complex over the weekend that he just filed House Bill 7122 creating the Limay District Hospital.

He said the proposed district hospital is a product of the town residents’ long-time clamor for a public hospital. “Local folks should no longer travel to Balanga for their health concerns because we are now going to have our own hospital right here in Limay,” said Garcia. The third-termer solon revealed in the said event that he already talked to the DOH regional director and that there was no objection to the proposed district hospital.

In a related development, Congressman Garcia lauded the newly-opened Limay Dialysis Center in Judy’s Park. “Maganda ho ang ating dialysis center. Bibigyan ho natin ng pagkakataon ang mga kasalukuyang nagda-dialysis. Sana ho huwag nang madagdagan pa ang ating mga kidney patients.” He urged local folks to practice good, healthy life style.
