DOLE conducts orientation for 25 beneficiaries of Emergency Employment Program in Orion

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in partnership with the office of Bataan 2nd District Representative Abet Garcia conducted an orientation on October 23 for 25 beneficiaries of the DOLE Emergency Employment Program in Pag-asa, Barangay Wawa,  Orion.

The beneficiaries will be assigned to clean cemeteries, clear waterways and canals, and maintain environmental cleanliness in their community as part of the program’s short-term employment initiative. Aside from the orientation, participants also attended a Gender and Development (GAD) training seminar. The activity was made possible through the efforts of Orion Public Employment Service Office.
