With the theme “Secondary School Leaders: Facing Challenges of the 21st Century”, the training aims to equip the 113 participants from all over the Province on administrative concerns as well as enhance their skills on management.

Among the speakers in the 2-day training are Dr. Tarcila Javier, Schools Division Superintendent of Bataan who tackled principles of management and updates on DepEd orders; Atty. Marissa David, DepEd Chief Legal Counsel Region 3 will discuss Administrative Discipline; Dr. Carolina Violeta, Asst. Schools Division Supt. will talk about School Leaders: Leader of Change, while a representative from the GSIS will discuss retirement matters, issues, benefits and other GSIS concerns.  Accounting and auditing procedures, action research, and test construction & analysis were ably handled by Mrs. Leila Estioco (DepEd Bataan Accountant); Mrs. Alma Padilla (DepEd Bataan Chief Auditor); Mrs. Dolores Tanada (Retired Education Supervisor –English); Mrs. Marilyn Macaibay (Principal III); and Mrs. Amelita Fandialan (Principal I) respectively. An open forum ensues after each topic, hence participants can freely ask questions, air their concerns and even validate the information and new learnings they acquire.

Even before the end of the training, the participants can already envision themselves as more effective managers when they go back to their respective areas of assignments.
