A total of 57 gold, 63 silver and 59 bronze medals were accumulated over the five year period. DepED-Bataan took the lead in several sporting events like basketball for boys (elementary), gymnastics (elementary and secondary), table tennis for boys (elementary) and arnis (elementary and secondary). Basketball girls (secondary) earned silver medals while the badminton players were also consistent winners with majority of them copping bronze medals. The swimmers also won several gold and bronze medals while the sepak takraw team of the secondary level won silver medals. The taekwondo players and lawn tennis players also blazed in the courts winning bronze medals. Volleyball players ranked second in girls division (secondary) while the elementary boys division earned bronze medals, proving once again that Bataan ball players are indeed a menace in the court. Chess players also did well by winning bronze medals.
The winners will represent Region III in the forthcoming Palarong Pambansa come May 2014 which will be held at Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
