Leaders of the different student councils and organizations attended the Student Leaders’ Summit sponsored by the Office of the Governor of Bataan last December 13 -14, 2013 at the Subic Bay Travelers Hotel.
The Managing Director of PerCX Advertising, Events, and Casting Agency, Mr. Michael P. Celis, stressed in his Values Orientation lecture the relationship of personal and social values with effective leadership skills. The second presentor, Ms. Ma. Lourdes L. Herrera, is the current Division Manager of the Freeport Area of Bataan Labor Center. In her talk, she emphasized the commonly preferred leadership traits and how these can lead to synergistic efforts in a team. To represent Bataan Governor Albert Raymund S. Garcia in his Keynote Speech, Hon. Gaudencio C. Ferrer, a Board Member of the 1st District of Bataan graced the event and reported updated on the ongoing and upcoming plans and programs in the Province.
According to the Central Student Council President, Mr. Jeffrey Geronimo, “This rare opportunity of experiencing a leadership seminar serves as an eye-opener for most of us student-leaders and motivates us more in serving our constituents”.
