For a resilient Bataan

Governor Albert Garcia and Senator Joel Villanueva led the inauguration of 1Bataan Integrated Training Center at 1Bataan Command Center compound in Orani, last Thursday, February 6.

The training center, a product of a collaboration between the Provincial Government of Bataan thru the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) and Philippine Public Safety and Order Support Group Training Center, is designed to provide training for all government employees as well as barangay officials being the first responders in times of emergency and calamity in the community.
In his message, Gov. Garcia emphasized that the Center will play an important role in making Bataan a ready, resilient and safe province and at the same time, capable of helping other provinces when the need arises.

Guest of Honor and Speaker, Senator Joel Villanueva zeroed in on the three Os in his message; Orientation – the vision of Bataan is clear, Obligation – leaders are progressive and forward-looking, and Opportunity to save life, opportunity for the future and opportunity to uplift the quality of life in the community.
