BALANGA CITY, Bataan- After successfully sponsoring annual funds for thousands of scholars in the Province,  2nd District Rep. Enrique “Tet” Garcia is now working for the free meals of every student in his district.

Congressman Garcia said that he is seeking P500 million fund from the national government for the said free meals. “Gusto ko, lahat ng estudyante sa aking distrito, mahirap man o may kaya- ay libre ang kanilang meals, kaya gumagawa ako ng paraan para maituloy ito,” pointed out the solon.

Cong. Tet is the architect of the Iskolar ng Bataan program, granting financial assistance to thousands of poor but deserving students before he became a governor, until he was elected again as congressman in Bataan’s Second district. Around 12, 000 students are now being supported by the Iskolar ng Bataan program.

Congressman Tet is very active in attending various activities in his district, visiting personally his constituents to know for himself how he could be of further help to them.
