Fully functional @64

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Bataan under the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Marilyn C. Tigas is adding another feather on its cap this Friday, February 6 when she joins Gov. Albert S. Garcia to receive the Fully Functional Local Social Welfare and Development Office (LSWDO) award. This is a highly coveted award among social welfare offices nationwide for it indicates 100% compliance to the MUST indicators of a fully functional LSWDO in the four work areas, namely: administration and organization; program management; case management and physical structure.

The awarding ceremony coincides with the 64th anniversary celebration of the Department and Social Welfare Development with the theme “DSWD@64: Tuloy ang Pagbabago at Pag-unlad” on February 5-6 at the DSWD Regional Office 3 Diosdado Macapagal Government Center in San Fernando, Pampanga.

In the invitation letter sent by DSWD Undersecretary Florita Rubiano-Villar, to Gov. Garcia, the Department acknowledges the strong support and contribution of the governor towards the functionality of the PSWDO in terms of program implementation and efficient delivery of services.
