GICC opens technopark building

MARIVELES, Bataan – An eight-storey modern building was formally inaugurated Friday

morning in a strategic place inside the Freeport Area of Bataan.

Grand Innovasia Concept Corporation (GICC) top officials led by its president, Sheryl Xiaojing Lou and Director, retired Navy Capt. Benjamin Tancio joined Bataan local officials led by Bataan Governor Abet Garcia in what they called a momentous event for GICC.

Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion and Vice Mayor Lito Rubia led other local officials here such as village (barangay) officials of Barangay Malaya and Maligaya, officials from the Bureau of Customs and Bureau of Immigration and other important guests.

GICC President Lou said their new building called GICC 1 (or phase 1) will serve as their main offices, commercial area and housing area for their employees.

“The ground floor will have a restaurant for the public, fine dining area for high-end clients, a salon, a gym and a spa,” she added.

She said that the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors will serve as offices and operation areas for their clients and investors while the remaining 5th to eight floors will be their residential areas.

Meanwhile, Captain Tancio said phases 2 and 3 of this huge project will be the next to be constructed inside the said Freeport.
