CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – In its unwavering commitment to attain its vision that by the year 2020, Bataan will be the preferred location for eco-industrial investments leading to the highest human development index in the country, the provincial government of Bataan led by Governor Albert S. Garcia embarked on a journey called the Performance Governance System, that will make sure that all the organizational priorities and strategic initiatives of the Province are aligned to its vision. Hence, the Vision Aligned Circle Revalida was conceptualized and implemented, covering the period January to June 2016.
For the said period, the following performance managers were adjudged: Good Performance Manager: Jimmy Angeles (MBDA) Effective Performance Manager: Trinidad Tallorin (VET) Outstanding Performance Manager: Cheryl Lou Siccion (PEO). They each received certificates of recognition and cash prizes as incentives.
Meanwhile, the following departments were declared Silver Awardees (Effective Performance of a Department) – Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) under Ret. Colonel Audie Atienza; Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) under Engr. Enrico Yuzon; Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) under Engr. Fernando Tanciongco; and the Provincial Tourism Council led by Arch. Techie Banzon.
The Gold Awardees (Outstanding Performance of a Department) the Management Information Systems Office (MIS/PIO) under Mr. Geoffrey Loyola; Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) under Mrs. Zena Sugatain; the JCPAYUMO District Hospital under Dr. Gena Abara and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) under Mrs. Imelda Inieto.
The silver awardees got a rating of 9.0-9.5 while the gold awardees had a rating of 9.6-10.0. They all received certificates and plaques of recognition.
All the departments are now looking forward to the second semester revalida covering July to December 2016.
The awarding was done during this morning’s flag ceremony held at the Bataan People’s Center hosted by the Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO).
