Gov. Garcia: Mayors mobilized for vaccination plan

Municipal mayors in Bataan are now being readied for the micro plan vaccination program to reach even the remotest barangays or villages.
Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia revealed on Monday’s vaccination of doctors, nurses and other frontliners from private hospitals that plans are now afoot to mobilize municipal mayors down to barangay officials for full blast vaccination effort against COVID-19.

“This is a concerted effort of the national, provincial, and municipal governments in coordination with our vaccination team,” Garcia said.
The governor also disclosed that next batch of vaccines are arriving in the province by second or third quarter of this year. The centralized facility at the Bataan People’s Center will only one of the facilities for vaccination in Bataan.
Garcia said plans are now also being made to find a suitable area for other vaccination facilities. “We will look for a place more accessible to our barangay folks,” he added.
