Gov Garcia, Vice Gov. Garcia lead 269th Bataan Foundation Day celebration

Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia delivered his State of the Province Address (SOPA) before a crowd-filled Bataan People’s Center on Saturday, in line with the celebration of the 269th Bataan Foundation Day.

 

In his address, Gov. Garcia highlighted the province’s significant gains in key sectors, particularly in education, health, agriculture, peace and order, and other priority areas that directly improve the lives of Bataeños.

 

He underscored the provincial government’s continuing commitment to inclusive growth and responsive governance.

 

Vice Governor Cris Garcia, in her message during the Foundation Day celebration, reassured the strong partnership between the executive and legislative branches of the provincial government.

 

She said that together with the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, they remain steadfast in implementing development programs and in crafting laws and policies that will further enhance the safety, welfare, and quality of life of every Bataeño family.

 

Vice Gov. Garcia also said the values of resilience, unity, and love for country as defining traits of the Bataeño people.

 

He noted that the annual observance of Bataan Foundation Day serves not only as a tribute to the province’s rich history, but also as a source of inspiration for all stakeholders to continue moving forward together toward sustained progress.
