BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Aimed at further assisting and helping the businessmen in complying with the simplification of business registration process and in paying taxes, helping the micro, small and medium enterprises, Balanga City Administrator Rudy de Mesa sees the need to invite the newly elected officers of the Bataan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (BACCII) to have an audience with Mr. Mon Abrea, the founding president of the Center for Strategic Reform of the Philippines, as a major part of the business community.

Mr. Mon Abrea, earlier that day, was the speaker at the Balanga City Educational Summit 2017 of which he said, he enjoyed the interest shown by the students, teachers and other non-business groups on basic tax information thus in meeting with core officials of the business forerunners of the province like BACCII, he said, he believes the seminar will educate them further to eventually grow their business focusing on innovation rather than paying penalties because of lack of knowledge.

Abrea did not only discuss tax education and system but also their advocacy at the Center for Strategic Reform that is, “the seal of honesty-certification program” which according to him, will redound to promoting a culture of honesty and integrity among our people in paying taxes.

This seal of honesty, Abrea said hopes to further simplify business registration and tax compliance in the future for a more dynamic and progressive economy.

BACCII officials on the other hand, headed by its new president, Orly dela Pena, thanked Mr. Abrea for the enlightenment on payment of their taxes and assured Mr. Abrea of the next encounter, with all BACCII members, stating that paying taxes is an important aspect of the business industry.
