BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Governor Abet Garcia, during the blessing and inauguration of GICC (Grand Innovasia Concept Corporation) building, said that the significant event coincides with the vision of Bataan to encourage investment, induce economic growth for the creation of jobs for our people to have better lives.
The Governor acknowledged that because of GICC, there has been a tremendous interest for potential investors to locate in Bataan, considering that modern facilities are now being established in FAB which are comparable to some of the major tourist attractions in the country plus the fact that Bataan is now an hour away from Manila thru the ferry boat.
GICC’s top honcho, Captain Benjie Tancio, said in his message, that GICC bldg.1 is just the tip of the iceberg, that come 2018, there will be the GICC phase 2 and GICC phase 3, and that the master plan for said two modern structures will materialize by the coming years.
Likewise, Ms. Xiaojing T. Lou, GICC President said that having the first GICC building in FAB is an iconic landmark that will enhance more activities, for it will not only cater to BPO offices but will also offer amenities like restaurants, shopping stores and other business activities.
FAB Chairman Emmanuel Pineda for his part, conveyed his gratitude and appreciation to GICC for trailblazing landmark developments contributing to the progress not only of FAB in the municipality of Mariveles but the whole province of Bataan as well, for the effort to ensure that their plans will really contribute to the inclusive growth of the province.
Pineda added that GICC phase I, which is only a mirror of what we see right now, marvelling the modern structures and amenities, is just a tip of the iceberg with respect to the plans and programs of GICC.
Moreover, Pineda said that, we all look forward and anticipate more major developments in the golf course area and other several properties of GICC leased from FAB that will lead to more job generating economic activity.
Also present during the occasion were Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion of Mariveles, Mayor Francis Garcia of Balanga City, newly installed PNP Director Marcelo Dayag, other officials of Mariveles and executives, staff and employees of GICC.
